Featured Artists will include Hyun Yoon, Gold Medalist at the
2018/2019 Russian Chamber Music Foundation Concerto Competition.
14 year old Hyun Yoon is the current Russian Chamber Music Foundation Concerto Winner. He won 1st place at the 2018 and was selected as “best of class” winner at the 2019 Concerto Winners’ concert at Benaroya Hall. He also won Gold Medal for the piano duet division performing with his equally talented sister, DJ Yoon. Together, they have garnered over 6 top prize titles at the 2017, 2018 Russian Chamber Music Festival and MTNA Piano Compeittion, Duet division. They won top prizes for 3 consecutive years at the Sanford Wright Piano Competition and SIPF Virtuoso Festival. As a soloist, Hyun won several Silver and Gold medals at Virtuoso Festival, Sonatina Festival and Helen Crowe Scholarship Competition. He is also a cellist and has served as concert master for the Seattle Youth Symphony. Hyun has appeared on Classical KING FM performing live.
