I welcome you to the Russian Chamber
Music Foundation of Seattle. Since our
inaugural concert in February of 2008, we
have delivered three years of exciting
evenings of Russian chamber music. In three
years, we have brought many wonderful
musicians from New York, Boston, San
Francisco, and Oregon, as well as from
Canada and England, to join the best of local
artists to continue and expand our
presentations of Russian chamber music.
There have been moments of lyricism,
drama, happiness, and sadness, which have
created a broad spectrum of emotions for the
listener. Our programs have included the
well-known Russian composers as well as
some composers not so widely known. Our
goal in each concert is to mix the beloved
and familiar music together with some
pieces that will hopefully stretch the
audience members to expand their
knowledge and love of the rich Russian
music repertoire.

It is a great privilege for me to work with a
very high level Board of Artistic Advisors
who help with their advice and artistic ideas,
as well as the Board of Directors, volunteers
and donors who help move this exciting
project forward. Our future will be a
beautiful journey of performances and
educational opportunities through the gift of
music!
